"240th AHC Aircraft Commanders"
Greyhounds, Mad Dogs & Kennel Keepers

Here's Greyhound 24, Pat Schmickrath and his crew, trailing red smoke over Bearcat after they took on the VC/NVA. The Greyhound Gunners put out some accurate, deadly M60 fire and prevailed this day. Good job, guys!

Now here is one heck of a group. Would you trust your daughter with these guys? Sure would, an Honorable and Talented group of pilots. Left to Right: Bill Seaborn, Keith 'Doc' Watson,
Jim Shepard, Pat Schmickrath, Billy Ryan, Bob Giffin and Ron Ketter.

Here is Mad Dog 16, CW2 Mike Forrester, receiving a plaque for 2000 combat flying hours in South Vietnam, most of those hours accumulated as an Aircraft Commander at the controls of a UH-1C Mad Dog Gunship, from the 222nd Aviation Battalion Commander in front of Battalion Headquarters.

The "Dirty -4" in Vietnam 1968-1969
John Kocur, Mike Lee, Don Wallace and Mike Forrester.
The most scurrilous, low-life, pilots in the 240th AHC!
Hey, don't blame me, I was just quoting what was written on back of the picture.
