From Hueys to Hot Rods & Hogs

LZ of the 240th AHC has some new "trick rides" which we are adding to the "Hueys To Hot Rods" page. It has been amazing to me to find so many of 240th Brothers that have special talents that would put the professionals in each respective field to shame! Woodworking, modeling, building boats and cars, just to name a few, are just some of the exceptional skills we have from the men of the 240th AHC. This page is for Patrick Dunn, 240th AHC, 1967-1969 and just look what this man can do. These are the before and after pictures of Patrick's 1988 Pontiac Trams AM GTA. He bought this car for his wife, Cindy, and Patrick is thankful that he finished the car and his loving wife got to ride in it before she passed away. Patrick said this is the car that he is most proud of that he has restored. This car wasn't very pleasing to the eye when he first bought it but Patrick turned it into a work of art and performance.

Say "AHHHHHH," Doctor Patrick working his magic on the car's engine to make it a mean machine again!

The "ugly duckling" has become a real beauty and turns heads now as Patrick cruises down the roads of Pensacola, Florida. This auto is now one of five TRANS AM GTA's built in 1988 with T-tops. The tail lights, map pocket, birds on the sail panels, seats, wheels and door panels are now different. The springs, shocks and steering box are different on a GTA vs the regular TRANS AM and Firebirds and it corners like it is on rails. Patrick also said it is scary fast!

What a difference in the finished product of the interior from when Patrick brought the GTA home. This ride will really "take you there!"

If any other 240th Brothers have a classic car or their motorcycle they would like to post on the websites, send the pictures to us.
