Benavidez Bronze Bust Unveiling At West Point The West Point Class of '97 along with Valor Remembered Foundation has donated a life size bronze bust of Roy to West Point. It will be displayed in the Roy Benavidez Reading room in the Academy library. It has ben there since late last year and at last we are having a dedication ceremony. The unveiling will be the Thayer Awards Room at West Point this October 24 at 13:00 hours. The unveiling will be in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Academy's "Board of Visitors". I have been invited to assist the class of '97 in developing a guest list for the event and I am recommending that they invite all participants in the missions.
